My name is Carmen Gratta and I have been in the restaurant business for over thirty-five years.
I took over the Walliserstuba to continue the work of my mother Eleonora, an extraordinary chef who combined Valais precision with an Italian heart.
Today I carry on that same energy, alongside Andrea Bernardini and a team that works with respect and consistency: the recipes are handed down, and the smile is the same as always.
Because here we serve emotions, not just dishes.

A very cozy and welcoming place with a warm, traditional atmosphere, especially nice when it’s cold outside. The typical Swiss cuisine is excellent. The fondue was delicious and very generous in portion (ordered for two, but easily enough for three or even four!). The rösti was great, and the Alpine macaroni were also excellent. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Swiss comfort food in a charming setting.
